Why I started Pivot In-House

Early‑career lawyers and law students get a lot of generic, conflicting advice. I launched Pivot In‑House to help you find direction and motivation. After spending years pursuing my own move in‑house, I wished I had an insider to help navigate this highly competitive process—so I built the resource I wanted back then. My goal is to surface realistic paths you may be overlooking, align them with your strengths and interests, and give you a clear plan you can execute with confidence.

What I bring

I have over a decade of experience across law firms and corporate legal departments, including eight years in-house. After earning my J.D. from BU Law—where I served on Law Review, won multiple moot court awards, and instructed 1Ls in legal research and writing—I practiced litigation at Jones Day for over five years. I later moved in-house to one of the nation’s largest financial institutions and then to a global financial institution, advancing from counsel to senior legal leadership. That path across Fortune 100 and Fortune Global 500 teams informs my perspective on hiring and attorney development.
